| ITWin was helping a public utility company transform its legacy data centre comprising many physical servers into a modern, consolidated virtualized environment. This project was executed at Johor Bahru (JB), Malaysia. |

| To operate safely and smoothly, the public utility company requires seamless integration of multiple business-critical systems, such as the monitoring system, treatment system, distribution system and support system, etc. Unfortunately, different system vendors commenced their systems at various timing. It is not uncommon to see the systems running on various Windows Server versions on multiple brands of physical servers. |

| We conducted a thorough study for the Customer and presented a report to the management. The report covers their current hardware configuration, performance during peak and off-peak hours, network throughput and disk I/O, etc. |

| We also formulated the data centre design under server virtualization with the data collected, including system architecture and hypervisors comparison. |
| |
| The Customer's management eventually chose VMware as their preferred hypervisor for server virtualization based on the report. |

| The Customer adopts 3-tier architecture consists of DELL EMC PowerEdge R740 Servers, DELL EMC ME4012 Storage with hybrid SAS and SSD hard drives, and DELL PowerSwitch S4112T 10Gbps managed switches functioning as SAN switches. |

| ITWin technical team helped the Customer conduct P2V migration and had all servers consolidated in the high-availablitiy, centrally managed virtualization environment. |

| The system users of the Customer are now enjoying the high-performance infrastructure with a piece of mind. With this, it enables the Customer to expand their business from Malaysia. |
